Break-even, target price, and the loss guard

The three prices the app computes and how it stops accidental losses.

  • Break-even — the lowest price on a channel where, after all fees and shipping, you lose nothing.
  • Target price — the lowest price that hits your target margin/markup on that channel.
  • What-if ladder — the price needed at 5/8/10/15/20/30% (or any custom %) per channel.

The loss guard is the app's core promise: recording (or editing) an order that loses money after fees and shipping is intercepted with a full breakdown — you can still record it (reality gets recorded), but never silently. Prices below break-even always render in red.
